The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, which controls and shapes the ICSE curriculum, is committed to serving the nation’s children through high quality educational endeavours, by empowering them to contribute towards a humane, just and pluralistic society, and by promoting introspective living through exciting learning opportunities, all with a commitment to excellence. CISCE is the pioneer educational board in our country.
Appollo offers schooling up to the tenth grade at which point students sit the examination for ICSE, an examination in a course of general education set in accordance with the recommendations of the New Education Policy of 1986. As far as curricula are concerned all academic grades taught at Appollo are designed to prepare students for the ICSE examination. The medium of teaching throughout is English.
Among other things CISCE focuses on trust and fair play, minimum monitoring, allowing schools to evolve their own niche, catering to the needs of individual children, giving institutions and individual the freedom to experiment with new ideas and practices, and diversity and plurality.
With ICSE your child gets their freedom and individuality, and a healthy dose of exploration and diversity, hand-in-hand with academic excellence.
